Our premises date back to the 1600s when it was a popular haunt for smugglers who used the well in the main seating area to transport goods. We're proud of the heritage of the building and the well; which is now lit up for visitors to see.

We serve freshly ground Illy coffee, loose leaf teas, tasty lunches and homemade treats every day of the week with a fully stocked bar and an extensive garden to relax in.
